INTERN BY THE SEA! 


The renowned Cill Rialaig Arts Centre in Ballinskelligs, Co. Kerry seeks bright young confident arts graduates or emerging artists for their summer intern scheme June – September where successful candidates will gain practical experience in arts administration and arts business development, communications, organisational systems, event planning, cataloguing and fundraising and if desired gain practical skills in printmaking and framing.

There is also scope for those with an interest in the culinary arts to work alongside a top chef in the art exhibition centre’s Art Café and in the launch of a unique food range.

There is an opportunity to meet major international artists and leading Irish artists who are awarded residencies at the Cill Rialaig Artists Retreat. There is also time given to work on personal projects.

Accommodation is provided.

Desirable skills –
Understanding of contemporary art practice, administration including Microsoft Office, knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, WordPress etc. and good graphic design skills desirable. Printmaking artists may benefit from access to workshops in our Print Studio.
